You will recall that low ice in spring does not necessarily mean low ice in summer, and also note that the record low ice summer (2012/2013)) had a very high sea ice cover the preceding winter. Still, there it is. No matter what the virus is doing, or how the economy is responding, the poles keep right on melting.

Some hoaxes just refuse to go away.
