You see, they have managed to convince themselves the majority of Americans prefer their policies. So if they see any evidence that that is NOT the case, they will immediately interpret that as some sort of treachery from the Left that will justify whatever they need to do to prevail. The bad guys are always able to convince themselves they are really doing the right thing. However, I do believe it wouldn’t take much to convince them they were justified in not having another one.
