Trump held back (lied) hoping the Covid problem would miraculously just go away, or at least fail to manifest itself completely until after the election. Once Trump was re-elected, what the virus did was irrelevant to him. Woodward made the right choice, and for the right reasons. His first book, "Fear", seemed to have little effect dissuading the Trumpanzees and convincing them to abandon their Fuhrer, so he clearly made the correct tactical decision. As for the fact it helped boost his profit picture...well surely, any Republican would have done the same, Bolton did! Donald was in showbiz. Surely, he understands that, isn't he supposed to be such a great businessman? A Reality TV star? Like most bullies, particularly those who abuse women, he blames his victims for not fighting back, and whines when they do so effectively.
