We survived Eta just fine, only scattered damage around town, and some water was forced by wind into my car.

A look at the NOAA website reveals some disturbing new developments, though. Another tropical disturbance is forming in the SW Caribbean, this is a very unusual area for storm formation, but one that’s been very busy this year. There is also a new storm forming in the Atlantic, in an area not known for tropical weather systems…45W, 29N. And its November, the season is usually winding down this late in the fall.
