Donald Trump’s election fraud lawyers – who describe themselves as an “elite strike force team” – have alleged that the vote was hacked and ballots switched from the president to Joe Biden, thanks to technology developed in Venezuela.

Rudy Giuliani, Mr Trump’s personal lawyer, leading the team, said that the election had been rigged by “a company owned by affiliates of Chavez and Maduro”.

They were angered by the use of Dominion, a Canadian-based company.

He was also upset at a Venezuelan firm, Smartmatic, being used – despite them only operating in Los Angeles County.

“You couldn’t possibly believe that the company owning this election machinery was an ally of Hugo Chavez, is an ally of Nicolas Maduro, and an ally of George Soros. What do we have to do to get you to the truth?” said Mr Giuliani.

“This is real. It is not made up. There is no one here who engages in fantasy. I know crimes – I can smell them.”

But I gotta admit, somehow ‘Dripping dye in public’ is more entertaining.

Both Republican members of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers signed affidavits late Wednesday saying they want to rescind their votes to certify the county’s election results.

It is not clear what effect, if any, the affidavits have. A spokeswoman for the Bureau of Elections said there is no legal mechanism for board members to rescind their votes.

“It means absolutely nothing,” said Jonathan Kinloch, a Democratic member of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers, who said the affidavits are a ploy to be used in an existing or future lawsuit.

Kinloch said the board even approved a second motion waiving reconsideration of the certification. “We had a definite deadline of 14 days to certify, and they knew that. This is now out of our purview,” he said.

The affidavits signed by Monica Palmer and William Hartmann are the latest development in ongoing legal and other disputes over Michigan’s election results as Republican President Donald Trump seeks to overturn results in key states that show Democrat Joe Biden winning the presidency with 306 electoral votes, compared to 232 for Trump. A total of 270 electoral votes is needed to win the presidency.

Palmer told the Free Press Thursday that Trump telephoned her Tuesday night, after the board meeting. She said Trump called to make sure she was safe after hearing about threats directed at her. The Associated Press, citing anonymous sources, reported Thursday that Trump also reached out to Hartmann.

You now they will go down as a footnote in the history books- hated by both sides.

Hated by Americans that value our democracy and detest their fascist attempt to strip the vote from people of color.

And hated by their fellow traitors for not having the guts to stick by their guns…

I do hope their grandchildren ask them what the hell they were thinking…
