I will tell you why you support him… it boils down to that need of yours to be the victim… he plays to it and cajoles you to be angry about your victimization, and once you are angry and irrational he points to some group of people- usually powerless people, and tells you ‘THEY are the ones victimizing you!!!’

Trump, just this weekend in Georgia:

“We’re all victims. Everybody here, all these thousands of people here tonight, they’re all victims. Every one of you.”

THAT is his appeal to those that support him-

‘Its not YOUR fault you haven’t gotten where you want in life- it THOSE PEOPLE that are holding you back, you should be angry at THOSE PEOPLE for what they have done to you! Any atrocity you have dreamed of committing is justified against THOSE PEOPLE.’

And when you turn away to yell at THOSE PEOPLE, and demand something be done about THOSE PEOPLE, and attack THOSE PEOPLE he just laughs and steals a few hundred more billions from the nation to distribute to himself and his friends.

Trump’s anger is all about him, it is directed at people that have wounded his ego, or it is directed at innocent people simply because it suits his political needs.

My anger is all about what has been done to those innocent people in your name.

YOUR anger should be directed at what you allowed him to turn you into.

You seem to have a need need to convince us that you supported all these crimes, all this death, all this damage because you genuinely believed you were doing the right thing.

You attempt to convince us by playing UNBELIEVABLY stupid, and by simply ignoring the facts we present, or asserting – without evidence- that the facts are wrong. You are starting to understand that this little charade is NEVER going to fool anyone.

What is pathetic, however, is that you don’t seem to realize that if you DID honestly believe that putting this monster in the white house was worth all this death and destruction, it would be an even more damning indictment of your character… it would mean you are a goddamn sociopath.

You realize that you are only digging yourself a deeper hole by continuing this act, but you have a compulsion to convince others that you are better than you actually are… so you just can’t stop digging…

The only way out you can see is for us to forcibly take the shovel from you… that way you can stop digging, AND you can be the victim- silenced by those ‘intolerant liberals’ you keep whining about…

Why should we let you dictate what part we play in your pathetic little psycho-drama…?

You could, like your departed Kooky Konservative Komrades, just go away… but your compulsion to defend the indefensible things you have supported won’t let you do that, will it?

You COULD try being a man for once, and just admit you were were wrong, that you eagerly let yourself throw away all your principles and whored yourself to a con-man because he catered to the ugliest parts of your soul…

Rob, long BEFORE the 2016 election I (AND OTHERS) warned you- more than once- that your slavish devotion to this ‘man’ would only end in dragging you down into a very dark place… And here we are…

You made a choice.

I have no sympathy or solace to offer you, you made your choice and did immeasurable harm to individuals, families, to our nation and its institutions, and to our democracy. I will save my compassion for those you helped victimize.
I will offer you only this one thought- I know right now it seems like you are in a very dark place. You are realizing that when Trump asked ‘What do you have to lose’ it wasn’t just an idle question… You have lost a lot- what is worse you know that you threw it all away willingly because a con-man promised to make you a ‘winner’… You probably think it cannot get worse.

But I can assure you it will

Your ‘man’ will lay more atrocities on your shoulders before he goes… hundreds of thousands more deaths, more damage to our nation- JUST NOW its coming out there is an investigation into a bribery for presidential pardon scheme… just another item on the long list of crimes and atrocities you supported.

The ONLY way it could be worse for you is if Trump had succeeded in his attempts to sabotage the election and won a second term… but I don’t think you are anywhere close to being aware enough to understand that…

You made a choice.

You have to live with the consequences. We are NOT obligated to pat you on the back and tell you ‘its ok, buddy’- IT IS NOT OK. Thousands are dying every day as a result of your choice. The man you called your ‘voice’ is actively undermining our democracy NOW.

The fact that you made this bad choice along with 10′s of millions of accomplices does not dilute your guilt. That isn’t how it works.

The only way to get a little out of the hole you dug for yourself is to first engage in a little self-examination and try to understand WHY you were so easily taken in by such an obviously flawed and vile con-man. Learn from this and make sure you never allow yourself to repeat this evil in the future. And THEN take steps to try and fix the damage you did- publicly repudiate your actions and work to convince your accomplices to do the same. Reach out to help the minorities and immigrants that lived in fear the past 4 years.

But that would require admitting you were horribly wrong… and your screwed-up notions of what it means to be a MAN won’t let you do that. Will they?

If you do somehow manage to do that – to attempt to atone for the harm you have done- THEN you might have a way out of the darkness- so why not try?
