Clearly, there are two classes of people involved here, and they have very different priorities. AGW, global conflict, refugee invasions, trade wars, the rise of fascism in the developed world, fears of thermonuclear attack, a spike in religious fanaticism and toxic nationalism, a declining standard of living, a devastating pandemic and a divided nation and rapidly metastasizing internet-assisted global hysteria–but the Dow has broken 30 thousand and shows no sign of slipping back.
