Always a smile, always helpful, would take time to chat. After living in the dorm for two years, one late spring day, she was wearing short sleeves, which was unusual for her. That's when I first saw the number tattooed on her forearm. Shocked me for a moment. She saw me notice. She just smiled and nodded. I'll never forget that.
