It is not painting them with a broad brush to call them the party of Q-anon and insurrection... they publicly sided with all that. America now has one party trying to govern, and another party that consists of either the batshit insane conspiracy theorists, or those that are willingly and actively catering to the conspiracy theorists. The question is how long can a nation survive this scenario? It is entirely fair to assume that the republicans have decided overwhelmingly that they stand on the side of insanity.
