Flew into Colorado Springs in a blizzard with about two feet of snow already on the ground. Two days later I was in an outdoor phonebooth at the barracks wearing shorts and a T-shirt phoning Mrs. S in frozen Ohio. Colorado: Interesting weather. Next 4th of July we were rollerskating all along Tejon in The Springs. I recall relocating to Fort Carson in January.
