Because the murder of George Floyd was recorded from multiple angles…
Because it ignited a global outrage…
Because millions marched in the streets…
Because 100′s of millions staying at home due to the pandemic were forced to view the murder…
Because this time police decided not to close ranks and cover for the crimes of one of their own…
Because the public pressure ensured that charges were brought…
Because this time there wasn’t a lone apologist for police brutality on the jury…

THIS time, finally, justice was served…

It isn’t a sign of how far we have come, it is an illustration of how far one still has to go for justice.
