What is surprising is how out in the open they are about it now...

They used to deny it, now they embrace it...Remember how FrankC used to swear up and down that conservatives were not racist, and act outraged at the slightest suggestion that they were?

Once Trump was elected Frank openly embraced white nationalism and joined a group advocating for secession and the creation of a whites only ethno-state in the southeast of the USA. He loved Trump enough to vote for him and defend him, but in the end even Trump wasn't racist enough for FrankC... he wanted to see a genocide before he died. Trump just made him feel comfortable and safe enough to admit what he always was- a flagrant racist.

I just hope that Frank lived long enough to see his kind rejected by the majority... sadly, I suspect he did not. He went silent after posting a long string of "COVID is a liberal hoax" memes and just as the massive last wave of covid started in his state... He is either dead, or perhaps he FINALLY caught on after MANY hints that his activities were publicly viewable and went into complete hiding on some conservative 'safe space' like GAB.

Either way, it is important to remember and memorialize FrankC for what he was- an ignorant racist and bigot. After all, he wouldn't want us to erase history, right? (Yeah, he defended the confederate statues as well)... Alive or dead, I suspect that is how he is remembered by many of his grandchildren now...

And it is not just the pathetic life-long losers like the late Frank- it is the LEADERSHIP of the party... in 2019 Steve King was stripped of his committee assignments for saying the quiet parts out loud, but NOW? <a href="https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2021/06/paul-gosar-nick-fuentes-white-nationalist-holocaust-denier-republican-groyper.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Paul</a> <a href="https://www.salon.com/2021/03/13/rep-paul-gosars-siblings-say-hes-a-white-supremacist--but-his-gop-colleagues-stay-silent/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Gosar</a> is <a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/rep-paul-gosar-rallies-with-racists-while-his-republican-party-whines-about-dr-seuss/ar-AALE0WK" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">OPENLY</a> advocating white supremacy and going to white supremacist rallies in the open and not a PEEP from his colleagues, he is hardly the only example...

The leadership has learned that racism and white grievance is the red meat their voters crave, and they need to keep shoveling it to them if they want to stay in power. They created this monster by pandering to it for decades... but it has grown strong over that time, and now it OWNS them.

Racism has always been what has motivated the conservative base, and it was deftly used by the party to manipulate that base... but now the basest of the base has completely taken over, so all the GOP even pretends to stand for now is racism and conspiracy theory.

Correlation is not necessarily causation, but it is getting harder and harder to ignore the obvious. The one interpretation that best explains all these observations is racism. White/Southern/Republican/Conservatives simply do not like folks who are just not like them. I guess they fear that if when THOSE PEEPLE achieve a majority and take power, colored folks are going to treat white folks the same way white folks have traditionally treated colored folks for the last 400 years. Tradition, heritage, culture...and race are what its really all about after all. Of course, those of you who are actually from the South already know this, don't you?

Sometimes circumstantial evidence is hard to dismiss, like when you find a trout in the milk.
