The blockhead chain

1) The economy was good during the Trump era. (I.e., profits were up.)
2) Covid hygiene measures threatened the economy.
3) Liberals wanted to fight the virus.
4) Therefore, Liberals had to be stopped.
5) Therefore, all anti-Covid measures had to be resisted.
6) Bad science , fake news and bogus constitutional and ideological arguments were employed to discredit the Liberals.

The one thing a Conservative CANNOT allow to happen is that Liberals might be proven right about SOMETHING.
A cult must always be right about everything, its opponents must always be wrong about everything.

A similar strategy was used against Climate Change. It worked there, too.

If, by 2024, the virus is still rampant and causing widespread world-wide misery, Biden and his policies will be blamed for causing the catastrophe.
OTOH, if Covid is defeated and no longer an issue, it will be pointed out that it was really no big deal and the Democrats were alarmist and over-reacted.
