An interesting confession from a friend November 4, 2021 7:41 pm podrock

The other day I was talking to a friend who I’ve known and worked with for decades. We are often on the opposite point of view both politically and geologically. But he is smart and a stand up guy.

We had argued the war in Iraq back in the day. We have known each other long enough to not hold back in these discussions. The HZ flame board at the time was a mere flicker in contrast.

He told me that I was right yesterday and he was wrong.

Surprised me. Came out of the blue. Didn’t quite know what to say, honestly. Thanked him of course, reminded him of times I was wrong about subjects we discussed over the years.

While I really disagree with him on many things, I am glad he is my friend.
