When the GOP elites take power they will do as you claim… they will gut protections for the working class and hand wealth to the top 1% – paying back their base with poverty and hardship…. but their base will be ok with that if they are allowed to slake their thirst for blood.

The GOP elites KNOW this THAT is why they openly celebrate creatures like Rittenhouse, THAT is why they push through laws making it legal to use cars as weapons against BLM protestors. That is why they openly pal around with Neo-Nazis.

They are correct that their base will forgive all as long as they are allowed to satisfy their thirst for racism and violence. Where they are wrong is thinking they will somehow keep control over the mob. That they will be satisfied after just a few drinks… they should know better.

Their base will be problem drinkers, repeatedly binging – occasionally at first, then more and more frequently. And they will be MEAN drunks – especially as their lives become harder under the thumb of those they religiously vote for.

There will be blood, and it will never be enough for the GOP base…

On Friday, NPR reported that extreme right groups are rejoicing at the acquittal of Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse — and are fantasizing about instigating more violence in their private channels.

“In one Telegram channel for the far-right Proud Boys, some noted they had taken the day off work to await the verdict,” reported Odette Yousef. “‘There’s still a chance for this country,’ wrote one. In another channel, a member stated that political violence must continue. ‘The left wont stop until their bodie(s) get stacked up like cord wood,’ he wrote.”
