(I missed the 8-track era altogether, I have no idea what I was doing during those days.) My first experience with them was <em>Ummagumma</em>, because I had a friend who was going to school at Columbia and was hip to all the new stuff and he turned me on to them. I quickly followed up with<em> Piper at the Gates of Dawn</em>,<em> Meddle</em>, <em>Atom Heart Mother</em> and <em>Dark Side of the Moon</em>. They are all masterpieces. I've listened to all their other albums as well, and although they have their high points, I didn't like any of them enough to actually buy them.
