Back in the 1970's and 80's this activity was called "Monkey Wrenching" after a book by Edward Abbey, "The Monkey Wrench Gang." They did a lot of damage to mining and construction equipment and burned down a ski lodge in Vail. Sort of surprised there were no security cams about. So called “eco-warriors” piss me off.
