But even I would know enough to be highly suspicious if someone offered me rent-free housing... What kind of idiots would let themselves get duped like that? If someone made such an offer to me I would need to be convinced it was on the level, make damn sure I knew if there was some sort of quid-pro-quo, and once _I_ was convinced, I would need the security and ethics folks where I work to review it and assure me that yes its indeed fine- which, of course, they WOULD NOT! Because its OBVIOUSLY not on the level!! What the hell is going on with the secret service?! They have had countless scandals like this in recent years... Where I am sure they are regularly trained about foreign intelligence services operations….
