The GOP is a now a party of fascist, bigoted, bloodthirsty monsters- THEY know it and THEY are proud of it- we need to wake up and take their word for it-

They are not slandering the left as pedophiles for giggles… you only manufacture a fiction like that if your plan is to exterminate a group. You KNOW this is true, but your mind understandably recoils from recognizing this for what it is… but you have read enough history to recognize this plot. You know how this story ends.

These slanders are being mass marketed, intentionally spread by every propaganda arm of the republican party- billions of dollars are behind the marketing of this new blood libel. This is their final push for their final solution.

The copious blood that has been spilled so far is only the first drops of the torrent to come.

So yeah, say ‘not all republicans’ if it makes you feel better… but when the carnage really comes to full bloom do you think ANY of them will speak up against it? Or will even the ‘best’ of them remain silent, and feel some relief that- as bad as it is- at least there will be no smug liberals around to say ‘I told you so’?

Mind you, I don’t like far left policies either. I know people who voted for Nader in 2000, for Stein in 2016, out of purity rather than strategy. Liberals who thought Hillary was just as corrupt as Trump. Maybe she had her own problems but have a look at the SCOTUS now.

Trash like this creature have been emboldened by the MAGA movement… the normalizing of bigotry… they have taken the insane conspiracy theories to heart, and are whipped into a frenzy daily by the likes of Fox news, OAN, and Newsmax.

The people that push this murderous propaganda don’t actually believe it, and they understand it will lead to atrocities like this… but it is worth it in their cold calculation. They consider the body count acceptable collateral damage- a small price to pay to keep the base in a frenzy. They know they are encouraging murder, and they also know that many more must die for them to achieve their goal of abolishing our democracy.

How can the civilized among us combat that degree of evil without becoming evil ourselves? Violence would only play into their narrative, and accelerate their violence.

Trying to ‘just get along’ and trying to placate and reason with the trash will accomplish nothing… Republicans are not decent human beings, they are not reasonable people. They are intent on destroying our democracy and oppressing those groups they feel do not deserve to live in our country. The GOP has become the barbarians at our gates.

Peaceful protest is not going to solve anything either- but while it may not accomplish anything it is still obligatory- we want to be on the record to ensure that history records that there were decent people that recognized the evil that was being done and tried to stand against it.

Unless some miracle happens the barbarians will win- I see no way for it to be avoided. Since the early days of the zone I have been yelling that the American Right was marching down the road to fascism- and the right wingers here scoffed and said I was being alarmist and insulting – said my claims that racism was a primary motivating factor on the right was outrageous slander….

But over the past 5 years the cowardly conservatives that used to frequent the zone went elsewhere to giggle about how they were deplorable, they joined white nationalist online groups that advocated for genocide, they posted racist memes, they defended the butchering of Jamal Khashoggi, they made jokes about the attempted rape of Christine Blasey Ford by Kavanaugh…

It isn’t that they transformed into monsters suddenly- they always were monsters- the MAGA movement just let them feel comfortable throwing away the mask they used to wear when interacting with decent human beings.

They will celebrate the atrocities that will be committed in their name. And there will be MANY such atrocities to come in the next few years.

The fall is here. It will be the ugliest period our nation has ever seen.
