It is the base- and because it is the voice of the base and the GOP leadership has enslaved themselves to the base- the leadership, and anyone who wants to be elected as a republican will NOT denounce it- in fact they will defend it, promote it and make it their goddamn platform.
It doesn’t matter how evil and dangerous they know it to be, all that matters is that it is what the base wants to hear.
This sort of language- to varying degrees- is being repeated at churches across our nation. It is the new liturgy of white Christians, and Trump is their golden calf.
And their new god demands a blood sacrifice… of course there is no god, it is really just the base that thirsts for spilled blood- they just created a God in their own image to do away with any lingering guilt they might feel about the atrocities they have planned.
So they can call it a ‘Holy’ War…
The churches that do this do so in violation of their tax-exempt status- if we were serious about saving our democracy, and serious about preventing the slaughter these monsters have planned, we would revoke their tax exempt status…

The pastor said in a video shared on his church’s website: “If you vote Democrat, I don’t even want you around this church. You can get out. You can get out you demon. You can get out you baby butchering election thief. You cannot be a Christian and vote Democrat in this nation. I don’t care how mad that makes you. You can get as p***ed off as you want to. You cannot be a Christian and vote Democrat in this nation. They are God-denying demons that butcher babies and hate this nation.”
During the Sunday sermon, Locke told the congregation that he was “sick” of hearing about the riot at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, before adding: “Let me tell you something. You ain’t seen an insurrection yet.”
“You keep on pushing our buttons, you low down, sorry compromises,” Locke continued. “You God-hating communists, you’ll find out what an insurrection is because we ain’t playing your garbage. We ain’t playing your mess. My Bible says that the church of the living God is an institution that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And the Bible says they will take it by force.”
Locke has courted controversy with his firebrand comments, including threatening to expose members of his church for being “witches.” In the February 13 sermon, Locke told the crowd that he had the names of six witches and that three were in the audience.
And in January, Locke organized a burning of Harry Potter and Twilight books as well as other items at the church.
