I can’t see any roof damage so I think it was just the sheer volume we had. Like I said, nowhere near as bad as there of course. There was scattered flooding and water damage throughout south Florida, but none of it affected us. In fact, we welcomed the rain, it gave us a few cool hours respite from the sun and the heat. What we have to look forward to now is the worry of what trouble the tropics will be brewing for us until the end of hurricane season in November. I'm used to it, I was born and raised here, but Mme Reclus finds it very stressful. This season got started early, and the weather gurus tell us it will be a long and active one.
