Many scientists, some journalists, Admins of other forums, some anomalists of different persuasions, the occasional quack troll, and a resident anomalist eating Yeti. Good times. And it was intimidating as hell. But inspiring as well. Better bring receipts so you can watch them be shredded, soaked in gasoline, and set on fire. Yet there were times when after a good sparring bonfire there was a handshake and a playful punch in the arm. It's what I grew up with. There were around 80 different, active posters. He seemed like someone who would enjoy the depth of the conversation we have here. I think he may have been a little intimidated because a large percentage of Zoners (now) are scientists. I let him know that laymen are welcome too. Maybe he'll reconsider. I'm going to change my tactic to just giving someone a link to the HZ and let them judge for themselves.
