If we’ve several free hours in a new city, we head for the gardens. I have found it really gives you a lovely taste of a city. Usually, there’s a cafe. Have brunch there. Or get to go and have a picnic and people watch. Maybe have a chat with a local. Love it.

And Sydney’s Garden is amazing.

(NZ has a couple of nice botanical gardens too)

I liked breakfast on Bondi Beach after a ferry ride. Nice hiking trails right there as well.

Wanted to climb the bridge, but damn that’s a lot of money.

Loved Sydney. Serious envy. The Fates were kind to you by giving you a play day there.
