Even Donald Trump has rights. August 11, 2022 5:48 pm ER

I don’t see how the contents of the warrant to search his property can be released to the public without his permission.

If you can convince a judge there is probable cause to find incriminating evidence of a crime (in order to get a warrant), that information can ruin someone’s life or reputation forever; even if a trial later proves that warrant was totally unjustified and the individual was completely exonerated. Surely, the release of the details of this document must be up to Trump, at least until he’s proven guilty in a court of law. Otherwise, what’s the point of a warrant anyway?

Now, if Donald allows release of the details…well, that’s something else all together.
