Roe being overturned is big. Very big. The Democrats delivering on a number of campaign issues (climate change, prescription drugs, infrastructure, etc) is big. Gas prices going down is big.

But imo the biggest issue is Trump being front and center in the news. There is no bigger vote motivator for Democrats in history than that pos.

But it may not be the unexpected landslide they fantasize about. Most likely, the status quo will be more-or-less maintained, and we’ll have to wait for 2024 to resolve the question of where America is heading.

And two years may turn out to be a very long time.

I assumed the electorate was too apathetic to react cohesively… but these elections and a few other indicators are making me hopeful…
