Still, it was good to see that the Democrats have finally quit turning the other cheek. Maybe now the Mainstream Media will finally get the balls to do the same.

If Trump does die by a violent act, I don’t think the violence will have its origin on the Left. It will be from the Right, from his own hangers-on and fellow travelers who will seek to inflame his followers with conspiracy theories. The motive will be to remove him so they can step into his shoes. I can think of a half-dozen names I see as perfectly capable of doing this. It won’t be an American Brutus, it will be more of a Roy Cohn, Joe McCarthy moment. It will be designed to look like a Leftist plot, and its motivation will be to propel his assassins to power.

The speech was good, but WAY late in the game, it is a start though and there needs to be ruthless, but constitutionally legal, follow-through.

You don’t defeat fascism by being kind, trying to find ‘common ground’. You don’t defeat it by beating it in a few election cycles… you defeat it by the vast bulk of society treating it with scorn, derision and disgust. If you do that then you can have a chance for a couple generations to be free of it before people forget and the disease starts to fester again.

Such harsh action is not just required by morality… it is a matter of survival… because these diseased bastards will happily march the most vulnerable of our society into camps if given the chance.

A supporter of Kari Lake, the Trump-endorsed, newly-declared winner of last week’s Republican gubernatorial primary in Arizona, has called for the forced relocation of LGBTQ people to camps in an effort to stop the spread of the monkeypox virus.

Ethan Schmidt-Crockett declared in a video posted to Patriot Takes on Twitter: “We need to quarantine and isolate all the folks of the LGBT community. We need to find all of them. We need to hunt them down and put them into isolation camps for their own protection.”

Of the government, Schmidt-Crockett asks: “How come they’re not taking precautions advocating against reprobate fornication?”

And the Q-anon cult has masturbatory fantasies of rounding up liberals and executing them for their God-Emperor Trump…

I still think the fascists will probably win, and within a few years- but I am starting to see signs – hopefully not mirages- that we will make them fight for that ‘victory’.

Win or lose, the next few years will be VERY ugly… and the next few decades will be even worse.

Fascism IS coming, but if we are VERY lucky we might put it off for a few decades… I really doubt it, but its worth fighting for… even if its a doomed cause.
