Ukes have better intelligence as you suggest, most likely much of it coming from the US and NATO but also from their own assets. They have a relatively small but very experienced military, having become battle-hardened in Eastern Ukraine since 2014. The Ukes have much higher morale than the Ruskies not only because they are fighting on their home turf but because of the early success in the battle for Kyiv. That will only increase exponentially now. They clearly have better generals and field officers as well as soldiers. Western weapons have proved significantly superior to similar Ruskie weapons. Political leadership has been down right inspiring. And of course the Ruskies have been shockingly inept in tactics, training, logistics, command, communications, etc etc. And the Ruskies are showing no signs of learning from their lessons.

The RU troops are not fighting for anything they believe in. They know they have been lied to. Ukrainians have the home-field pissed-off advantage.

And, Yes,

This is very much a signals intelligence war. Not just the Command and Control stuff, but the calls home from soldiers. And remote sensing. Me thinks there are some real time cat eyes up in space.

What's next? Continue to cut and control surface supply routes.

The thing about the Crimean Peninsula, it only has three surface access points. One bridge to Russia proper, the other two to Ukraine are narrow corridors over salt/tidal flats. Be a shame if any one of those became unusable. (I've heard rumors of civilians leaving?)

ADDENDUM: POW's may become a serious issue.
