Slowly but surely he's clearing away the wreckage left behind by Agent Orange, and things are returning back to normalcy. Even his legislative program suddenly seems to be getting underway.
In foreign policy, the Ukrainian conflict has been finessed, and America has capitalized on Putins's blunders and Ukrainian courage and resolve.

There is no economic collapse, in fact, the economy is the envy of the world, and the problems which do exist, primarily inflation and energy, are worldwide and easily traced to external factors such as the war in Ukraine and a virus that was allowed (perhaps even encouraged) to get out of hand.

In fact, the only real problem I can detect in the Biden Presidency is the debacle caused by the precipitous Afghanistan withdrawal. Biden does deserve criticism for this; his administration was too eager to disentangle America from that conflict; he should have seen it coming, he had plenty of warning. But even that blunder can be partially mitigated by the impossible conditions and diplomatic concessions to the Taliban of his predecessor. Biden could have done more to stop it, but he was dealt a difficult hand at the start of the game.

All in all, I would give the Biden team an A- to B+ rating so far after less than two years. Not bad considering the situation existing around his inauguration, and the still ongoing fascist coup d'etat.

Unfortunately, all these gains could be lost if the Trump gang regains control of Congress this November. If the Right regains power, I fear Biden will be impeached, Hillary arrested, and most of his reforms rolled back. It is even possible Trump will be reinstated, using some bogus "the 2020 election was stolen" excuse. The midterms are a bigger hazard to our democracy than the Presidential election of 2024. A Democratic loss in November will mean there will be no chance of a fair choice two years later.

It is pretty clear the Legislature is the last defensive bastion for the American Executive. Its obvious by now we can't count on the Judicial Branch any longer.
