That smell of money laundering?

Be interesting to find out if those helicopters have flown anywhere, at all.

Because it always turns out to be a grift with these people.

but I wouldn't be a bit surprised Conservative enterprises might not receive very favorable terms from Russian firms. The Russians know that the troglodyte hysteria about immigrants can be manipulated to help them get a foot in the door with American companies, providing influence and contacts for future political maneuvers.

Our mistake is to believe every shady deal with the Russkies is evidence of treachery and treason by American capitalists, but the Russkies are not that obvious, and even the MAGAts are not that treasonous. But the Russians know its worth taking a temporary financial loss to buy them seats in American boardrooms, and sooner or later they can buy themselves into a position of control in Western markets. They've been doing this this for years.*

How do you think the Russians managed to get all Europe to be dependent on their oil, especially when Europe (due to the North Sea fields) had a temporary glut of crude?

Selling them the rope, selling them the rope...

*I'm old enough to remember how the Soviets cornered the market on American wheat. They waited until America produced a bumper crop and our farmers couldn't give the stuff away. In order to "save the family farm", we allowed the Russians to buy up all the surplus. Suddenly, those bastions of rural conservative Anti-Communism, the American farmers, were all for it Congress even financed the deal because the Russians had no cash available. They had to buy grain futures with scrip, which American banks backed with low-interest loans.

Everybody involved got rich off the "Great Wheat Deal" until one day we woke up to find the Soviets owned most of the world's wheat. Which they then turned around and sold to hungry Africans and Indians at premium prices. It was the same maneuver Hunt did on the silver market.

Simultaneously, the Russians did the same thing with phosphate fertilizer. I remember the big ships with the hammer and sickle on their stacks loading up phosphate rock in Tampa, even though THE USSR WAS ALREADY A LEADING EXPORTER OF THAT ORE. Incidentally, those ships were covered with eavesdropping antennas, all aimed at MacDill Airforce Base across the bay. And we all knew this was happening. It was in the press, it was debated in the media. But our businessmen and their representatives in Congress let it happen because they were in on the scam and making out like a bandit.

Clemenceau once said "War is too important to be left to the generals." Much the same can be said for our nation's riches and the labor of her workers. The business community is too greedy to be trusted with our economy. Don't blame Mexicans or Asians if our jobs are going overseas, or if illegals are flocking here for work or if we no longer manufacture anything we need. Follow the money.
