I used to have TS/SCIF compartmented clearances, but they were on a need-to-know basis, only on the specific technical details on the immediate projects I was working on. This clown had unrestricted access to a wide range of unconnected topics and documents of wide scope in multiple areas of interest. And it appears he was a youngster with sketchy connections and friends. It appears he had never been investigated or vetted! (They sent people to interview all my friends and relations and thoroughly checked out my background.) This story is so absurd I am tempted to believe it is all a massive disinformation campaign--but I'm afraid that's all just wishful thinking on my part. "Guns and God" my ass. There are lots of folks here in the US that are on RU's side. They see Vlad as fighting against Western immorality. Could be the old "Swiftboat" technique, or the forgeries that took Dan Rather down.
