		<description>More than a dozen &quot;atmospheric rivers&quot; hit central California between December and March.  Over a decade of rainfall in a few months.  

Yeah Cali needed it but the snowpack in the Sierras is expected to produce major flooding over the spring and summer.  

Of course the climate change deniers point to all the snow as evidence there is no climate change.  Braindead.  Of course it snows at high altitude during the winter, and the severe rain is caused by warmer weather evaporating more water from the oceans and causing more intense storms.</description>
