Now, before I post a link, I strip it, and see if it still works. If I follow a link, I do the same. For example, if I select just the non-bolded part of that URL, right click, and select go to, I get there just fine without all the tracking. This is especially important with links from Facebook. Because those bastards follow you around even if you don't have FB. Also, don't click the first link that shows up on a google search listed as an ad or sponsored. Better to copy and paste the URL.
