All the Net cares about is how they can leverage you to buy something, or to sell your eyeballs to someone who wants you to buy something. There is no politics, no ideology, no philosophy nothing but how they can squeeze every single penny they can out of you. Or to convince someone else you’re squeezable.

The contempt they have for the common man is infinite. All we are to them is a “market”. Political propaganda at least tries to get you to accept or support a philosophy. These people don’t care, you’re just a mark to be targeted. They don’t even care what you buy, as long as they can convince someone you might buy something.

Just think, this is the technology that was going to turn the earth into a paradise, to make our lives joyful and productive and to take us to the stars. Now its been taken over by the business majors.
