I have a very bad feeling about all this. Come to think of it, the prospects for Taiwan, and for democracy all over the planet are pretty problematic. Europe and N America will all start looking a lot like Hungary, Turkey and Belarus. The third world will start looking a lot like Mexico, or even Central America. We are entering the Age of the Gangster State, and the Crime Cartel Era. Too bad about the Ukrainians, too. I have a very bad feeling about all this.
