You test the waters by making an outrageous statement, and if called out for it, respond by saying it was an “off the cuff remark”, or “I was just thinking out loud”, or “its just a joke”.
But if there is no sudden outrage, then the next time it is a little stronger, or a little deeper, or a little more vicious. In any case, you will notice these little verbal missiles are always phrased so that they are not necessarily commands or instructions, but easily interpreted that way by the crazies and the cultists. They are slightly disguised instigations and provocations for violence and crime, carefully crafted too be just short of illegality.

This sort of distraction is bound to occur naturally, but infrequently, when political passions are aroused, from both sides of the aisle. After all, the Left has it crazies and its stupids, too. But they are now coming with such regularity and frequency from the Right that it is pretty obvious that it is a deliberate and planned tactic. These people know exactly what they’re doing. They really don’t care who gets hurt, or failing that, who might be afraid to act because they are intimidated or coerced.
