But they are increasingly populated by individuals ready to cooperate with those radicals in order to advance their own personal agendas. I'm sure MAGA Mike didn't wake up one morning determined to destroy representative democracy throughout the world. But he was certainly ready to take a risk to do so in order to secure some tax relief, and help promote his voodoo religion.. We now have a man who tried to undermine our last presidential election as 2nd in line to move into the Oval Office in the event of national crisis. And we also have one of our two legislative houses, and one of our two political parties, controlled by people who elected him to that position. Its not just a troublesome minority, its a substantial fraction of the body politic, well organized and funded, who is convinced the democratically elected President is illegitimate, and the majority who elected him are traitors. And the bulk of the population who don't necessarily believe this are too apathetic or distracted to even be aware it is going on all around them.
