A less expensive way that gets better results is a smart business decision. That's not obvious?

Thankfully it is to the people who matter moving the world away from fossil fuels.

Yes, it's all about the money. And that really was the point of the article. Renewables have hit the milestone of being so much cheaper that the floodgates are opening for investment and the great shift is underway. It doesn't matter what fossil fuel companies or advocates want, say, do, bribe, or whatever, because their product will no longer be competitive in price.

We ARE doing something.

Think.

Just let the free market and the innovative entrepreneurial spirit take care of the problem. And make sure the climate conference is chaired by a major oil-producing state.

Besides, if it doesn't work out, fusion power is only 20 years away, and can perpetual motion be much later than that?

Buck, if we found a way to produce all the energy we needed without any pollution, those who profit from fossil fuel would also fight that. They simply don't care what happens as long as they don't have to pay the bill when it comes due. The only economic law that you can really count on to work is "Money doesn't talk, it swears."
