It was there before he slimed his way on to the scene, but he burned it into the fabric of the nation's politics. I just think the low information cultists who never voted before Trump (a significant percentage of MAGA voters) will likely slip back into their know-nothing lives and rarely vote again once he is gone. And I'm postive most GOP leaders would breathe a sigh of relief to see the orange cancer no longer in this world. But it never occurred to me they would do something as disastrous as abandon an ally that fought the Russian Army to a standstill and threaten the security of the free world, just for a personal grudge, just out of spite. But its worse than that. There is no guarantee that a madman or a degenerate couldn't somehow become President of the United States. Whet has completely devastated me is that about a third of my fellow citizens want this to happen, and another third don't seem to care one way or the other. And for the first time in my life, I am starting to fear that the last third, the one I happen to belong to, is in physical danger. I am so scared. I am actually happy that at my age, I may just be lucky enough to die in time to miss the worst of it. This is no country for young men.
