Starliner finally launches June 5, 2024 1:46 pm BuckGalaxy

After a number of delays, Boeings Starliner is on the way to ISS with two astronauts after launching on the workhorse Atlas V rocket. So now America has two ways to get humans into LEO, the other of course being Space X’s Dragon 2 which launches on the Falcon 9 rocket.

For Deep Space missions the second flight of the massive SLS Artemis, jointly developed for NASA by Northrop Grumman, Boeing and Aerojet Rocketdyne, is scheduled for next year. Meantime, Space X will launch its fourth test of the megarocket Starship tomorrow if all goes well.

Exciting times for human space travel again after almost a lifetime frittered away in LEO.
