So much excellent music from that genre. Over the course of my life and career I have been exposed to so much music, and it's broadened my tastes immeasurably. Pop, R&B, blues, soul, reggae, hip hop, foreign music. Jazz and classical are trancendent for me at times. Of all the different music I love, I think what has had the most profound effect on me is Broadway musicals. Phantom grabbed me when I was young and I never looked back. So much straight to the heart emotion in so many incredibly great moving songs. Knowing you, I would think Les Miserables would rip your heart out of your chest. It did mine.
