We are living in a word where a large minority of the population has decided collusion with Russia, countless crimes,rape, treason, and attempted overthrow of our democracy are acts that qualify a con-man to be president - despite his obvious mental illnesses and malignant dementia. From the moment he came down that damn escalator I NEVER understood how ANYONE could not see he was a narcissist with DEEP insecurities... I mean it is as obvious as a neon sign on his forehead. Trump's "magic" was that he promised to bigots that they could be openly bigoted and not pay a price for it- they could inflict cruelty to the populations of their fellow citizens that they hated and watch as they suffered without any personal repercussions because their bigotries were backed up by the government. So the bigots now have everything on the line- they exposed themselves for what they were, and if Trump loses this time... then all of it was for nothing... their children and grand children will grow up holding them in contempt... they will become case examples of the danger useful idiots pose to civilized people. So... If they lose this time, they WILL be violent... hopefully they still lose and are gunned down like the rabid dogs they are. If they win, then many more people will die.... and the people that die will be those that least deserve it. Good luck folks... this is far closer than it has any right to be in a sane world... I have known since ~2000 that fascism was coming, that it is inevitable-- but I had hoped we could delay it until after I was dead. Now I will feel lucky if we can prevent it in the next few months. I'll say it again, I was wrong to vote for Trump the first time. I simply didn't like Hillary or what she stood for, so I went the way of "the lesser of two evils". I thought maybe a businessman could at least turn us in the direction of a balanced budget. I thought his handlers would show him the ropes and reign him in when it was needed. I wanted an end to illegal immigration and although the wall seemed like a pipe dream, at least the sentiment was there. I was comfortable with him stacking the supreme court. All 3 of his nominees pledge to uphold roe v wade and I felt they could roll-back what I consider over-reaches by the EPA. I was aghast to see roe v wade fall. The big lie which continues today opened my eyes to my mistake, and on Jan 6 my head was in my hands. Actually, it’s worse because it’s “our” country that could disintegrate.
