This year the GOP got them, but the next four years of chaos, incompetence, nastiness and just plain stupidity will hopefully be to our advantage. I do believe the candidate matters. Harris ran a near perfect campaign, but I have come to the conclusion that she lost because she is a black woman, and too many in America showed who they really are in the privacy of the polling booth. A young white male nominee in the mold of Gavin Newsome might have gotten it done. His gruff manly voice would have complimented his strong command of facts about the world. He would have gone on Joe Rogan those last couple weeks and reached out to those millions of "bros" who came out in droves for Trump in the end. But yeah, I too am taking a break from politics for the time being. I'm burying myself in work and entertainment. Watching a lot of streaming shows and movies, playing golf and video games, going out to dinner, drinks, dancing, karaoke with my wife and friends. Also taking a vacation to visit my daughter in Europe after this winter. Going to start posting more in the Space Forum as well. That really is what the soul of this place is supposed to be.
