Idiotic and pointless trade policies alone will cause international and domestic economic chaos: inflation, trade wars, economic contractions. Insane territorial aspirations will cause international political chaos, not just by our own actions, but by giving Russia, China and other nations a green light to proceed with their own expansionist territorial ambitions. Slashing of USAID guts American soft power which will be filled quickly by our adversaries. Slashing the goverment programs and workforce will cause huge hardship everywhere, and major emergencies in crisis situations. Executive orders that do an end run around congressional legisation, and the ignoring of court decisions threaten to overturn our constitution and the three branch system of government. I want to believe all of this will just be too much for the nation to tolerate. It certainly is already for non Trump supporters. Let's see what the pain and chaos does to the cultists. Will enough of them reject their orange jesus to reverse the madness?
