Meanwhile his rivals share of the EV market has grown 60%, and Musk is down $100B in his net worth. So the million dollar checks and bribes to voters couldn’t make people forget what he is doing to the country: Taking a chainsaw to federal agencies, firing tens of thousands of workers, gutting NIH cancer research and HIV prevention programs, meddling in social security. He’s turned his brand from one that was admired by environmental lefties into a hated pariah.
