In a setback for Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill”, it was voted down in committee because hardline republicans don’t think it is mean enough. The Bill would slash taxes for the wealthy while making the steepest cuts in Medicaid and SNAP ever, but appararently not enough for some conservatives.

Priorities here people! Billionaires should not be forced to buy slightly smaller yachts just to keep poor people from going hungry and dying of curable diseases!

The House GOP will keep trying until they eventually get to yes. The Senate might be a tougher road. Will there be a couple republican senators who will kill this abomination? Does the Senate GOP have anyone who will do to this what Manchin and Sinema did to Build Back Better?
