For longer posts, I generally like to write them offline in Wordpad and then copy and paste them when I’m done. I do that regardless of what website I’m on. Saves a lot of aggravation.

And yes your opinion and thoughts are worthwhile, even if they can’t measurably change the reality we’re in.

And as horrific as these cuts are in Space Science, they are matched across the board in ALL areas of science and R&D. That includes medical science like cancer research, AIDS research, and so much more.

But it doesn’t end there. Deep cuts in foreign aid, global medical aid, diplomatic staff, economic aid, etc have gutted America’s once unmatched soft power. Absolute madness. Meantime, massive increases in defense spending leave America with only one tool to deal with the rest of the world. There’s an old saying, if all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.

We can only hope Congress will reject as much of this idiotic budget proposal as possible.
