That thing makes my skin crawl. I'm blown away how damn creepy it is. An alien monster for the cinema ages there. To be honest episodes 6 and 7 were good, but not imo on the level of the first five episodes. The season finale however was freaking excellent. I also thought that Atom is the synth Boy Kavalier built when he was six. And YES the cliff hangers left a lot of potential directions. Whoever came up with that eye alien was a fricken sci fi/horror genius. That thing makes my skin crawl. I’m blown away how damn creepy it is. An alien monster for the cinema ages there.

Facial expressions, movements and even running scenes all mimic Japanese anime. 100% guarenteed that boy genius gets killed by an alien by the end of the season. It looks like Wendy is about to pop out an alien at the end of the episode. So what’s going to happen next? An alien-synth hybrid?

The show is also taking advantage of the humor of children in adult bodies, "Am I in trouble". The Synths are coming alive too. The ships security officer reflects on his life in a way reminiscent of Rutger Hauer in Blade runner. The "feel" (on occasion) is becoming more like "Alien" too. They even stole some scene elements from the first two movies. It's getting good. The hybrid children are becoming more distinct individuals.
