Large nations and their partners are all rushing to the moon, this time to stay. Plans for permanent bases will inevitably lead to competition for resources, and we know what comes next.

This was supposed to happen in the 1970s. Instead we wasted nearly a lifetime in LEO with the Shuttle and ISS. Now it’s finally happening for the next generations. Yeah I’m semi-sour grapes and a little bitter sweetness for what’s to come that I’ll never see.
