All I know is what I see on the Internet. November 30, 2025 7:21 am ER

I’m talking about that Afghan guy who ambushed and shot those Guardsmen in DC, killing one of them, an act he must have thought through well ahead of time because he traveled all the way across the continent in order to do it. I certainly have no idea WHY he did it, I don’t have access to any more information than you do. All I can say about any conceivable motive is that he snapped, he simply lapsed into lunacy, went crazy, over the edge, flipped out.

But when faced with insufficient data, a scientific mind is forced to speculate, come up with a hypothesis based on what little information is available and try to devise a theory that fits the facts and that can be tested when we know more. Like I said, I don’t know why this guy went ballistic, but I can still examine what I do know and try to come up with a potential explanation.

We know this man worked with American forces in Afghanistan. I don’t know what he did; maybe he was a translator, a spy, a consultant, an informer. We got him out because he’s got a target on his back in his own country. If he’s got family there they are certainly on the Taliban shitlist. They could be rounded up and killed at any time because of his actions, whether or not they worked with him or were even aware of what he was doing. Maybe they’re already dead because of him.

So he gets permission from our government to stay in this country; official permission, a visa given to him in return for his service to us and the risks he has taken on our behalf. Now he finds himself in a country where he’s suddenly not welcome, where fellow “legal” aliens, vetted and fully documented, are being routinely rounded up and summarily deported, perhaps he’s already on Trump’s list, certainly disdained here as a foreigner, a Muslim, a brown guy with an accent, a native of a country that has humiliated the USA. As for the possibility of getting any of his relatives out…well you can kiss THAT good-bye, he’s in MAGA land now.

So he melts down. He cracks. He goes Section Eight on us, becomes a candidate for the Baker Act. He goes out and murders a pretty white Christian girl just because she’s wearing a uniform. ICE Barbi Kristi Noem (on Meet the Press this morning) claims its all Joe Biden’s fault.

I’ve got my own theory, I’ve just spelled it out for you. Its just a theory based on insufficient data, but its sure as hell better than hers.
