Trump is literally a loose canon and needs to be reigned in quickly. I don't doubt for a minute he is already planning on invading Cuba next. Not sure what Israel's constitutional restrictions are on assassination of foreign leaders, but clearly they had a long running policy of taking out leadership who threaten them. Hamas leadership has been snuffed out many times in recent decades. Hezbollah was completely decapitated about a year ago. Khamenei has funded global terrorism for decades and he could be compared to OBL on steroids. There is little doubt he would assassinate Netanyahu in a heartbeat given the chance. He'd also made clear he wanted to nuke Tel Aviv. That was/is not a hypothetical threat but a deadly reality Israel faces. The real problem with this war is that in every major Middle East intervention we have done in recent decades (Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya) we have caused those nations to fall into chaos and civil war. Iranian citizens have seen this happen all around them and are deeply afraid for their future. We are, obviously, at war and clearly Congress needs to assert its authority in this regard.
